How to Delete Your ShiftRest Account
Option 1: Delete In-App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the App:
- Open ShiftRest.
- Go to Settings (usually via your profile icon or the menu in the top corner).
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option 2: Delete by Email
If you cannot access the App, email us from your registered email address:
- To: support@oqapps.pro
- Subject: Account Deletion Request — ShiftRest
- Body: Please include your registered email address and a brief statement that you wish to delete your account.
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account credentials (email, password hash).
- Your profile data (name, preferences, settings).
- Your content (logs, journal entries, chat history, uploaded images).
- Any subscription linkage stored on our servers.
What Is Retained
The following data is retained even after account deletion:
- Anonymised analytics — usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
- Financial records — transaction records are retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and legal obligations.
- Backup copies — deleted within 90 days from secure backup systems.
Important: Subscription Cancellation
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel separately:
- iOS: App Store → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → ShiftRest → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → your account → Payments & Subscriptions → ShiftRest → Cancel.
If you do not cancel your subscription, you will continue to be billed even after your account is deleted.
Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email within 30 days of your deletion request, confirming that your account and data have been removed.
